Jeff Lockyer

Consultant & Coach

Often in my work supporting organizations to create cultures where both men and women can thrive, I find that, when leaders learn what it really takes, they stand down. Jeff Lockyer stood up. He is a leader who reaches across the gap, who is willing to go into tough places, and who crafts real life opportunities for transformative learning. Jeff brings clarity, collaborative process, and momentum to stalled, stalemated, and challenging situations. And he does this with empathy, integrity, and humanity.

His ability to see the big picture while understanding the organizational forces at play allows him to bring clarity and insight to help his clients move forward. Jeff can be instrumental in transforming your organization into a healthy and powerful force in the world.

Jeff is thrilled to be a part of The Imperfect Leadership Movement of OrgHealth, because—in his own words—he’s an imperfect leader himself!

Jeff has spent nearly three decades in non-profit leadership, where he expanded his organization’s capacity over thirtyfold. Through building a high-talent executive team (including his successors) and a high-trust board, the organization has become a model across North America for effectively operationalizing compassion and justice. In 2021, Jeff released a book describing his organization’s journey, that inspires others to become significant social assets in their communities.

In addition, Jeff served on and chaired the board of a national leadership development organization for nearly twenty years—envisioning, equipping, and encouraging both business and non-profit leaders. This has led to conference and workshop speaking, podcast hosting, as well as a frequent guest of the Best Christian Workplaces podcast, where he has shared his personal experiences as both a champion and subject of organizational health reforms.

A former national team long-distance runner, Jeff brings a passion for the high-performance power of investing in organizational health. His decades of experience as a first-chair leader provides a rare combination of both empathy and clarity to both executive teams and boards that supports actionable change and growth for the future.
