About three hours, total. The assessment itself takes about 15–20 minutes for each participant to complete. After the survey is closed, the results are typically analyzed and ready within a few business days. When the report is distributed, we recommend team members reserve ~60 minutes to work through some reflections on the results to prepare for the debrief together. The debrief session is usually about 90 minutes.

Can the assessment be customized for specific companies in my portfolio?

The Ascent Assessment is designed to evaluate core elements of organizational health applicable across industries. While the framework is consistent, the debrief can focus on unique challenges or goals for each company.

How are the results delivered, and who sees them?

Results are delivered by email in a detailed, visual PDF report shared with the team leader, team member, and the facilitating consultant (if applicable). The results are secure and confidential, in recognition of the sensitive data being managed.

What happens during the debrief?

In the debrief, a trained facilitator guides the ELT through the report, highlighting key findings and discussing actionable recommendations. The session is highly engaging and collaborative, helping teams align on priorities and next steps.
